The Wistful Widows of Halliwell Gap

Early September, 1755; As they do every morning, the widows Halliwell greet the dawn.

Three young women, three sisters, all widowed at an early age.

Locals shun Halliwell Gap and will tell any who care to listen lurid tales of ghost lights, disappearances and apparitions.

The French and Huron weren't locals.

If anyone had tried to warn them, they wouldn't have listened anyway,
